  • Rn I'm at the part where they just started blood trailing, I can tell you what happened, you skimmed the artery right above the brisket but right below vitals, it stopped bleeding because since you skimmed the artery it can clot up, but if you wen right through the artery, then that deer would not have only bin beaded down

  • @18:45 “I’m here to make a perfect ethical shot” 2 min earlier: “I’d shoot a crossbow out to 60 at a deer, I know you can shoot 100 tho” Lmfao not ethical and not goin to be perfect. Watchin y’all hunt reminds me of Jeff Foxworthy’s Incomplete Deer Hunter

  • Sent truly does matter, it's one of the bigger factors deer can sense where you are, if they get a down wind of you your screwed unless it's a really young buck that doesn't know what he's doing yet, but if a buck gets a down wind on you its gonna go right back where it came from, I'm only 16 an been hunting an out in the woods as long as I can remember lol but sent is truly a bigger factor in hunting so get some scent killer an you'll be perfect, spray it on you before you go out in the woods, get your boots to even the bottom an you'll be fine bc you dont want the scent of your woodstove on you when you go out

  • This is the first time I've came across any of your videos, but the deer are clearly using your property for several different purposes this time of year. Transition; yes. You need to know that whitetail deer are animals that will eat/forage/browse on over 120 different species of plants, etc. Where you are seeing a lot of these tracks in areas that seem abnormal, look at the tips of the limbs (roughly waist height) and notice if the buds or ends have been chewed off. This is a very common food source regardless of snow being present or not. Most people overlook the fact that whitetails eat more than just corn/soybeans/alfalfa, etc. Food for thought from a veteran bow hunter :)

  • Deer move a lot more while it’s cold and they wonder and slowing start to move from a different main area where they hang out and the reason they are moving through your property is the reason you said and yes deer spoke from propane heaters but they have to get like died down wind but it still takes them a while to recognize the smell also y can cut a line in pool noddle and slide it on the window and you can also do that on a deer stand

  • ***Lay fluffy carpet on every single flat surface***walls, floor, ceiling, tables. I did that on a similar blind I had and it made it so cozy and comfortable; also had pillows all over for good shot propping. It helped keep it cool in the summer and much warmer in the winter. The carpet also seriously insulated sound, whisper quiet movements and you can talk without it being loud outside. Nice shot man!!

  • Deer move from bedding spots where they sleep to feeding areas where they eat. They move a lot in the cold to find food and keep warm. Set up a blind/stand in between the bedding and feeding area, or on thier feeding areas or watering area. Deer need to drink so they might like your pond/creeks. Or you are between a bedding area and feeding area.

  • Lol. Marinade all steak...slow cook roast and eat with potatoes carrots and onions then all buger have butcher mix the ratio with bacon not pork or beef fat that way every burger you grill is a bacon burger and everyone knows any casserole always taste better with bacon. I'd like to recommend someone you should watch his videos and learn everything you ever want to know about deer hunting and from field to kitchen table. This guy along with his son are both the most amazing bow hunters I've ever seen in my life and im 58 years old but this father and son combo are truly amazing. The dad is ;Dan Fitzgerald and his sons name is Guy Fitzgerald for the last 32 years me and my group of 5 buddies spend a week together deer hunting and the Fitzgerald's come to deer camp every year with us. We come in for lunch we watch Dan and Guy while eating lunch after the evening hunts, tracking, and checking our deer in for the day its back to camp for dinner and Fitzgerald's trust me you watch just one of their videos you'll be hooked and want more especially after you learn how Dan is legally blind in one eye and shoots lining his non-shooting eye up to shoot with and doesn't use any sights on his bow. Guy also shoots free sight no sights but at 40 yards Dan can pull his bow back and shoot a tiny field mouse faster then you can even find the mouse in a scope or open sights plus you'll love his custom cameo and most his shooting stands

  • What is the reasoning of not Harvesting the mother doe? That fawn is done being taken care of by that mother. Im sure there's other hunters that think your way but in my state if you want to hunt any private land you have to get permission from the farmer/land owner and if any farmer heard you say you wouldn't shoot a deer because it had a fawn with it as late as deer season you wouldn't be able to hunt private land because every farmer i know wants every deer on his land shot including the young ones. Im sure insurance companies feel the same way. Now me myself I wouldn't shoot the fawn but I definitely would shoot the mother and most hunters I know would have shot both. Im sure you've heard of veal beef? I've ate veal venison and it really is sooooo much better then doe or buck but I still wouldn't shoot the fawn myself but ill help you eat it
